Welcome to our blog! As you can see by the menu, we traveled a lot since we retired in 2015. We moved to Italy In March 2022, and have organized our site to focus on our new life and adventures.

After just one day in Barcelona, we'll sail to these ports:

We were quite amazed at the size of Pompeii. Margaret was amazed at the red light district. .... the artifacts brought tears to her eyes.

There are only photos of ancient sites, as they are the most interesting to us. The city itself, as Mike said, is pretty gritty.

The plan was to move through the Canal during the night, but we did not begin to enter until about 7:00 a.m. Good thing for us, as we were able to see so much. And the locals were gawking at us, too. Do you think the authorities held us up so that locals could see our ship?
